Colour Analysis

       “I’ll just buy it in black; it’s slimming and black looks nice on everyone,” says a client who has never had a professional colour analysis done. I cannot tell you the number of times I hear this comment. It’s so easy to default to black, whether for lack of a more colourful option, or simply because we wish to fade into the background. But that stops here and now.

       Here’s the hard truth: black might not your best colour. This is where colour analysis comes in. With my art background, a degree in fashion marketing, colour analysis training, on top of decades in fashion, I promise to find you your best colours. Colour analysis isn’t here to stop you from wearing your favourite colours, like the fashion police. Instead, it is developed to help you discover your new favourite colours! Colours that bring out your radiance, healthy glow, and confidence. So the compliments on your outfits will go from, “Wow, I love that top!” to, “Wow, you looks exceptionally beautiful today!”

      I will come to your home, or you to mine, where we will discuss colour theory and the science behind colour analysis. Then we’ll proceed with the draping of fabric swatches to determine undertone. I work within a system that offers twenty-one unique colour palettes— a far cry from the simplistic four seasons we started with in the 1980s! The whole process takes approximately ninety minutes and will cover clothing, accessories, hair, jewelry, makeup, and accessories. I will also provide you with a digital cheat sheet with makeup suggestions, celebrity lookalikes, and what metals are best. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase up a swatch wallet, a small bespoke pocket-friendly booklet with over forty of your best colours!

      In the long run, a colour analysis will save you thousands of dollars on unnecessary purchases in colours that don’t suit you. Armed with the confidence to walk away from colours that you know don’t suit you will result in a closet filled with items that will always look perfect paired together.
